Meet the Team
STEMkids programs are owned and operated by local, certified science teachers who are passionate about keeping kids curious.
Anjali is a K-12 science educator with over ten years of experience in STEM education. As a mother of two curious boys, she knows firsthand the importance of creating an environment that encourages and fosters the natural curiosity of children. STEMkids was created as a way to complement the classroom curriculum through engaging, educational summer programs that will create lifelong questioners, thinkers, and creators. She is thrilled to bring her love for science and technology, and her experience in education and operations to STEMkids.
Aileen has taught at both the primary and junior levels and thoroughly enjoyed implementing STEM-based activities for all age groups. She is committed to providing young children with an opportunity to see how the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math are applied in real-life contexts. As an instructor for STEMKids, Aileen hopes to help children engage their natural curiosity and support them in building fundamental skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and innovation.
Tracy is a teacher at Durham District School Board. She enjoys helping kids explore and innovate through hands-on, engaging STEM programs.
We are looking for passionate educators who are eager to create an environment of curiosity, wonder, and discovery for our youngest explorers. We are looking for experienced, certified teachers for two programs:
